Heavenly Meatloaf Appetizer

  • 1 lb. ground beef and 1 lb of ground pork
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1/2 cup of La Panzanella Croccantini, finely crushed
  • 1/2 cup of red onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup of ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and fill ungreased loaf baking pan.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until center registers at 160 degrees. Continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  3. Let cool to warm temperature before serving.
  4. Serve sliced into small wedges on top La Panzanella cracker, garnished with thin sliver of sun dried tomato.
